Hello, my name is Da, welcome to my art world!
I'm a self-taught artist.
I love drawing with colored pencils, watercolors and
experimenting with new media.
I started my art journey in 2011 when I first discovered digital,
iPad drawing.
Five years later I entered the world of traditional art and
fell in love with colored pencils!
My style varies, I'm passionate about nature, fantasy and
floral with a tendency for realism.
I've done a lot of digital illustration too. I'm still experimenting and enjoying the learning process.
All the materials I use in my work are high quality artist grade. From Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, Caran d'Ache Luminance and Pablo, Derwent pencils; Museum Aquarelle, Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils and Neocolor wax crayons.
Watercolor brands I use and love are Daniel Smith, Da Vinci, Schmincke Horadam, Sennelier, M. Graham, Royal Talens, Mission Gold.
Before I fell in love with Clairefontaine pastel mat, I worked mostly on Fabriano
Artistico hot press watercolor paper and Bristol vellum. I use 100% cotton paper for watercolors.
